Taking Telephone Surveys to Earn Extra Cash or High Street Vouchers

As well as taking online surveys to earn extra cash many market research sites also offer other ways that you can earn money such as telephone surveys, focus groups or online polls.

Some market research sites will carry out telephone surveys as well as online surveys as they easy to administer and they allow for more reaction and in depth interviews then on the web. Also unlike online surveys the questions that are asked can be changed for each respondent that takes part.

Although telephone surveys do get used by some market research sites smaller independent survey companies may not use them so much as they will be more expensive than online surveys, some people may see telephone interviews to be an invasion of privacy and phone charges can be high.

Any market research sites that do use telephone interviews  often offer much higher rates than simply taking  a survey online as much more information will be gained. These rates can vary but often range between £1 - £20 per interview. Depending on the topic that is being surveyed the rate you are paid can often be much higher than £20.

Any 'survey site' that offers you hundreds of pounds or dollars per hour for taking phone surveys is simply a scam and should not be believed. No company would be able to afford to interview hundreds or even thousands of people over the phone and pay these types of rates.

Global Test Market (UK) - Although GlobalTestMarket don't offer telephone surveys as such they do have a new mobile phone service called GMI Mobile. The new service allows you to receive surveys and earn extra points via text messages on your mobile phone. Valued Opinions (UK) - Offers up to £50 in cash or high street vouchers for specialist surveys such as phone surveys or focus groups. Valued Opinions will also pay you with high street vouchers for completing their regular online surveys.

Toluna (UK) - They do ask for your phone number when you sign up but once again surveys over the phone are very irregular. Any that you do take will reward you with points that can later be redeemed for high street vouchers once you have accumulated enough points in your account.

Consumer Intelligence - This is a relatively new market research site that offers consumers the chance to take part in pretty much anything including paid surveys, mystery shopping, dead letter boxes, telephone surveys and focus groups. All payments are sent weekly via Paypal with a very low minimum payout.

Panelbase - Panelbase offers their members many new and exciting research opportunities, this includes phone surveys, postal surveys, focus groups and product testing. Any money you you accumulate is added to your account and sent via BACS or shopping vouchers once you have just £10.

Although paid telephone surveys are not all that regular it's well worth signing up with the 5 sites above as you may receive one out of the blue which will help to earn you some extra money, add to the points in your account or you will receive some much needed high street vouchers.
